Dr. Thomas Chatzintounas was born in Serres - Greece and graduated from the Medical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) & Hellenic Corps Officers Military Academy in 1987. He is Senior Consultant Neurologist since 1994 after receiving education at the AHEPA Hospital, B’ Department of Neurology of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He became a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD focused in Neurology in the Department of Medicine of the Democritus University of Thrace on July 10, 2007, on the statement: ¨Ultrasound characteristics of carotid artery disease in ishaemic stroke¨, National Archive of PhD Theses - DOI 10.12681/eadd/21129. He has been a director for years in Neurologic clinic of 492 General Military Hospital & 424 General Military Training Hospital, teaching also Neurology for postgraduate students. Now he is a postdoctoral fellow in A’ Department of Neurology, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, AHEPA Hospital focused in Clinical Research and also Neurologist at Private Practice (Interbalcan European Medical Center Thessaloniki & Xanthi, Greece).Dr. Abeer Mohammed Alharbi is an Assistant Professor, College of Medicine KSAU-HS. To his credit he has over 400 publications in peer reviewed journals, 14 books and has received many awards including a Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Institute of Holistic Addiction Studies.Dr. Ravi Paul, working as a Lecturer and Head, Department of Psychiatry at the University Teaching Hospital, Lusaka, Zambia. He was instrumental in starting the MMed. (Master of Medicine) in Psychiatry programme. He was instrumental in starting several specialized clinics including Drug and Alcohol, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Geriatric Psychiatry and Psychosocial Counseling and Psychotherapy. He also pioneered the Master of Science (MSc.) in Clinical Neuropsychology Programme. It was for the first time they trained Clinical Psychologists in the country. He has also been involved in international research as a PI in “Zambia Disability Study” funded by SINTEF, UNICEF. He was working as a PI Randomized Controlled Trial of a multi-pronged intervention to reduce and prevent violence against women and girls/youth. He has also worked in the field of alcohol and substance abuse looking at brief relapse prevention intervention as well as binge drinking amongst Zambian women. Dr. Ahed Alkhatib has finished his PhD from Cambell State University in 2011. He is currently working as a clinical researcher at faculty of medicine, Jordan University of Science and technology. Over the time, He has published more than 200 articles in various medical fields including neurosciences, pharmacology, and diabetes. His approaches in research include the involvement of philosophy of science in research which gives looking, and thinking in depth. He has developed several hypotheses in medicine such as the role of white matter in initiating diseases such as diabetes. In microbiology, He has demonstrated that prokaryotic cells and eukaryotic cells are similar in producing cell cycle proteins which can participate in autoimmunity diseases. For the time being, He is more interested in setting more medical hypotheses, and writing book in different fields, of which two books have already been written and distributed in the world market. Dr. Adnan Atoum received his PhD in Social-Cognitive Psychology from Texas Christian University in 1990 and is currently teaching at the Department of Counseling and Educational Psychology, Yarmouk University, Jordan. He served as Vice President and dean of education and psychology at Yarmouk University and worked at international institutions such as Sharjah University-UAE and College of Education, Sultanate of Oman. Professor Atoum Published over 100 research articles and 18 books on various psychological issues. He served as Chief-Editor and member of editorial and consultation boards at several research Journals worldwide.Dr. Faisal Abdullatif Alnasir is Professor and honorary faculty of Imperial College, London. He is Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioner and College of Public Health. UK, member of the Irish College of General Practitioner and the American Academy of Family Physicians. He was the Vice President and Chairman of Family & Community Department at Arabian Gulf University, College of Medicine Bahrain. He is the General Secretary of the International Society for the History of Islamic Medicine and is currently the chairman of Home Health Care Centre, He served for eight years as the President of the Scientific Council of Family & Community Medicine in the Arab Board for Health Specialties. He published three books, contributed to chapters in two international books and 70 articles Published in refereed Journals.
He is also a regular health education editor in the local magazines and newspapers. Dr. Alnasir is recognized locally, regionally and internationally for his expertise in the areas of Family Medicine for which he is regularly invited to many conferences and scientific gathering to deliver talks and lectures. Prof Alnasir was the Editor-in-Chief for the Journal of Bahrain Medical Society, and now he is the member of the editorial boards of many national and international journals. He also serves as an advisor for the World Health Organization, EMRO region and the World Organization Congress of Family Physicians (WONCA, EMR). Prof Alnasir served as a member of various medical and scientific societies and acted on many institutional and national committees including the National Committee for the Care of the Elderly, Postgraduate Certificate Accreditation Committee, Drug licensure committee and others. Dr. Oluwasola Julius OKE, a Consultant Paediatric Neurologist who currently work as Consultant Paediatric Neurologist with Qbafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital Ile Ife, Nigeria. Dr. Paolo Milia, MD, PhD is Chair of the Department of Neurorehabilitation and Robotic Area at Istituto Prosperius Tiberino, a position he has held since 2004.
