Dr. Evija Stumbra Stumberga is a consultant rheumatologist, neurosonologist and internal medicine specialist. She has completed her postdoctoral studies in the Riga Stradins’ University. She has graduated the residency of internal medicine and rheumatology. She participated in the ´Erasmus Exchange Program´ in the Whytenshaw Hospital, Rheumatology Department, Manchester, United Kingdom in 2011. She has got the AAS degree and had courses in Internal Medicine in Salzburg. She has been specialized in neurosonology, worked as a neurosonologist. She has got the DAAD degree in 2013 and has been worked in the Stroke Unit, Neurosonology department in the Neurologisches Zentrum der Segeberger Kliniken Gruppe in Bad Segeberg, Germany. She has published clinical and research works concerning rheumatoid arthritis and atherosclerosis in reputed journals and has been served as an editorial board member of repute.Dr. Fawzi Mazek is an Orthopaedic and Spine Surgeon MBCHB, MSC, FRCSC.Prof. Khaled Mohamed Mohamed Diab is an MD, Ph.D. Consultant and Head of Orthopaedic Surgery Department at Neuro Spinal Hospital, Dubai, UAE. Is a qualified, accomplished and successful Orthopaedic Surgeon with over 30 years of rich high calibre experience in medical practice and teaching in the Middle East. Diab completed requirements for and obtained Certification of Qualification as Specialist in Orthopaedic Surgery from Swedish Board in Orthopaedics. Dr. Khaled M. Diab done several research for idiopathic scoliosis and published his thesis in this topic. Besides medical practice and education, Dr. Khaled M. Diab is very active in promoting professional activities including organization of CME accredited programs. In UAE and Saudi Arabia, Dr. Khaled M. Diab have been organizing programs with up to 90 CME hours per year. Dr. Khaled M. Diab have also written and published 4 books on Orthopaedics and published over 30 papers on peer reviewed journals and participated in numerous scientific conferences and meetings.Dr. Ray Marks, Clinical Professor, York College, City University of New York, and Lecturer, Teachers College, Columbia University, New York has expertise in several areas: osteoarthritis, falls, obesity, hip fractures, health promotion and practice; patient provider communications, pain and chronic disease prevention and management. She has authored many scientific papers and book chapters. She has served as the Director (2005 - present) of the Center for Health Promotion, School of Health Sciences and Professional Studies, City University of New York, York College—a non-profit Public Health Education Center with a 20 year history of serving the local community. Dr. Mabruka Zletni is a pediatric consultant rheumatologist, head of rheumatology unit at Tripoli Children Hospital, Associate professor at pediatric department, Tripoli University, Tripoli Libya.Dr. YH Chee graduated from Liverpool University in 1999 and undertook his basic surgical training in the northwest of UK. He then gained entry into the advanced specialist training programme in trauma and orthopaedics at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh between 2005 and 2011 where he was trained under the tutelage of Professor Charles Court-Brown and Professor Margaret McQueen in orthopaedics trauma and gained experience in limb deformity correction, management of complex bony non-union and infection with Professor AHRW Simpson during this period. He later completed a fellowship in limb reconstruction surgery under the guidance of Dr Selvadurai Nayagam at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital.
He is currently Consultant & Assistant Professor in Orthopaedics in the National University Hospital Singapore with special interests in open fracture management, deformity correction, bone lengthening procedures, foot & ankle trauma and sports surgery.
Dr. Cintia Leci Rodrigues is a professor of Public Health at the Medicine Course of the Santo Amaro University and Master in Public Health from the School of Public Health - USP.Dr. Paulo H. Marchetti, CSCS/NSCA is Associate Professor, Department of Kinesiology, California State University, Northridge, CA, USA; Postdoctoral Fellow (IOT/USP, Brazil); Doctor Degree (Ph.D) and Master Degree (EEFE/USP, Brazil).Dr. Md Abul Kenan has completed his Master’s degree of Surgery in the field of Orthopedics from Dhaka University, Bangladesh in 2008. He has joined as 1st class Government Officer under Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Bangladesh and still working. Currently he is working as an Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Shaheed Syed Nazrul Islam Medical College, Kishoreganj, Bangladesh.Dr. Anish G R Potty journey is in the pursuit to perfection for transforming clinical orthopaedic care by integrating technology and providing high quality low cost care. Having completed fellowships under the guidance of world experts in pioneer orthopaedic institutes; He developed expertise in arthroscopic surgeries of hip, shoulder and knee in adults and children. He also has experience in hip preservation, limb deformity correction, trauma, fragility fractures and metabolic bone diseases.Dr. Pietro Ruggieri was born in Taranto Italy in 1958.
He graduated in Medicine at University of Bologna in 1982, completed his residency and was certified
Board of Orthopedics in 1996 at University of Bologna, Istituto Rizzoli 1987 and obtained his PhD in
Oncology at University of Bologna in 1989.
He became Researcher at University of Bologna, Rizzoli Institute in the Department of Orthopedics and
in 2005 Professor of Orthopedics.
He was a pupil of Prof. Mario Campanacci since 1982 to 1999, and then worked with Mario Mercuri
until 2011.
During his education, he was a fellow at University of Florida, Gainesville under the direction of Dr.
Enneking and Dr. Springfield in 1987 and was a fellow of Dr. Frank Sim at Mayo clinic in 1991.
He is the author of more than 800 Scientific Papers or National or International Journals, over 390 of
these on PubMed, with a citation H Index of 46 and i10 Index of 165.
He has been a speaker and moderator in more than 600 international congresses.
He is a member of several Orthopedic and Oncology societies. He has been President of the ISOLS, is
Board Member of the EMSOS, Co-director of the subspecialty of tumors for the SICOT and Scientific
Coordinator for the EFORT. Since October 2016 member of the MSTS Membership Committee and
Vice-Chair of MSTS Specialty Day Committee.
He received several awards, including awards from EMSOS, EFORT and N.C.I. He was Erwin Morscher
honorary lecturer at EFORT in London in 2014.
His main fields of research are musculoskeletal oncology, reconstructive surgery and prostheses in
musculoskeletal oncology.
From May 2011 to November 2012 he was Director of the Department of Orthopedic Oncology at
Rizzoli.
From November 2012 to October 2015 he was Head of Prosthetic reconstructive surgery in
Musculoskeletal Oncology, University of Bologna Istituto Rizzoli.
Since October 1st 2015 Prof. Ruggieri is Chairman of the Department of Orthopedics and Orthopedic
Oncology at the University of Padova.
Since 1st October 2016 Director of Residency Program - Orthopedics and Traumatology at the University
of Padova.
Since 16th January 2017 Director of the Scientific Center for Research of Musculoskeletal Tumors

Dr. Sunil Kukreja M.D. is an Orthopedic Trained Surgeon with additional subspecialty fellowship training in simple and complex spine surgery. He completed his medical school and Orthopedic Residency training from the prestigious institutions in India before acquiring advanced clinical skills through the fellowships programs in one of the most reputed institutions of the United States including the Harvard university.
As the part of orthopedic surgery residency, he has obtained surgical training in wide range of general Orthopedic Pathologies namely Trauma, Joint Reconstructions, and Sports Medicine. However, he developed special interest in Spine Surgery and intended to pursue extensive and comprehensive training in this subspecialty. He dedicated extensive amount of time performing clinical research at LSU Health Sciences (LSU-HSC), Shreveport, mainly focusing on the outcomes of minimally invasive spine surgery and spinal tumor resection procedures. He presented his findings in the annual academic spine meetings namely AANS and CNS.
Upon completion of his Research Projects, he continued working at LSU-HSC as a Clinical Spine Fellow for the year 2014-15. He obtained the training in the Surgical Management of common Spinal Ailments including Disc Herniation, Spinal Stenosis, Spondylolisthesis along all the major spinal segments; cervical, thoracic and lumbar. In the year 2015-16, he moved to Ohio State University to acquire advanced fellowship training in complex and deformity spinal procedures.
He later joined a Harvard fellowship Pediatric Orthopedic and Spine Program at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston for the year 2016-17. During his stay at Harvard, he focused on obtaining the surgical skill set for the management of scoliosis deformity in the pediatric age group. He also performed several general pediatric orthopedic procedures including the treatment of fractures, sports injuries and dysplastic hip.
He recently completed the Spinal Fellowship Training at Buffalo University for the year 2017-18, where he mainly participated in minimally invasive spine surgeries including MIS-TLIF, minimally access lateral and oblique lumbar fusions. He was recently awarded the best paper in clinical research category at annular fellows day meeting for the year 2018. He is a strong proponent of Minimally Invasive and Small Access Spinal Procedures. Dr. Maria Vázquez Guimaraens, from Spain is a Medical Doctor specialized in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Public hospital, Servicio Gallego de Salud (Spain). She has received a Bachelor degree in Medicine and Surgery in 2008 (Universidad De Santiago de Compostela). She did her Specialist Training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation via MIR, Hospital Juan Canalejo, La Coruña (2009-2013) and a Postgraduate degree in Childhood Disability in 2012 (Universidad Complutense de Madrid) followed by PhD in Neurosciences (Universidad de A Coruña) Doctor in Medicine for the doctoral thesis: "Factors related to a greater functional recovery after suffering a stroke". Qualification: Cum Laude (2017). She has rotations at the following hospitals: Hospital FREMAP, Hospital Reina Sofia, Córdoba and Kessler Institute, NJ (USA). Her research work has a large number of presentations at national and international conferences and is the first author of many different published articles and chapters.Dr. Orlando Angulo is a Medical Doctor from Colombia and a Canadian citizen specialized in Sports Medicine. In addition, he is a Certified Sport Nutritionist, Professor and a Dedicated Researcher. Over the years he worked in the field of Experimental Medicine, Sports Medicine with a specific focus on Nutrition, Physical Activity and Fitness to help individuals in achieving healthy lifestyles to prevent and manage disease.
He provides wellness coaching, Nutritional Counseling, Rehabilitation and Exercise Prescription to a wide range of patients from young Athletes, Post-op Recovery to elderly individuals.
With the new advances in technology, such as mobile applications and sports and nutritional software he guides his patients achieve their health and fitness goals and use social media to share knowledge with both patients and colleagues.Dr. Rafael Inigo Pavlovich, born and raised at Hermosillo Sonora. He studied his career at University Autonomus of Aguascalientes, Aguascalientes, Mexico. Post graduate’s studies in orthopaedics and sports medicine at Sheba Medical Centre, affiliated to the University of Tel Aviv, Tel Aviv Israel. He continued his subspecialty in knee surgery at Centre Hospitaliere et Universitaire de Bellevue, at Univ. de Saint Etienne, France. Dr. Inigo pursued his PhD in Medicine and Surgery at University Complutensis of Madrid with Cum Laude mention. Later in his career pursued the excellency by attaining several post at American Arthroscopy of North America as Master instructor in the first Spanish course at the official training at Chicago, Education committee. He later became editorial board member of international high impact journals such as Arthroscopy, International Orthopaedics, etc. in excess of 11 journals. Participated five times as guest editors in Arthroscopy, International Orthopaedics and Knee surgery.
He has developed new techniques such as Meniscal repair with the application of Thermal Radiofrequency energy, reported new syndromes such as the Disphoria articularis syndrome and synovial entrapment syndrome. Has developed patented ideas as shaver with radiofrequency.
In his trajectory several international accolades were granted such as first place in research granted by Mexican Orthopaedic Association, Sports Medicine "Pedro Guillen" award for the technique meniscal repair with Radiofrequency pulses by Univ of Murcia, Spain. Dr. Vinayak M. Sathe is a US board-certified orthopaedic surgeon mostly practicing and doing foot and ankle work. He had extensive orthopaedic training and experience in India, United Kingdom and the United States and board-certified in all those countries.
Currently, he is an Academic Faculty and so involved in the training of orthopaedic residents. Part of his current job also includes doing research activities including outcome studies. Also, he is a reviewer for various orthopaedic journals.
Dr. Sherif Dabash, is an assistant lecturer in the department of Orthopedics at University of Ain Shams Cairo, EG. He finished his Orthopedic residency at the same university in 2012, and then got appointed as a demonstrator and then as an assistant lecturer. After his residency, he travelled to Germany to work as a clinical research fellow in the orthopedic department at Frankfurt University for 6 months in the field of spine surgery. He got a lot of experience in the diagnosis and management of different spine diseases.
Later, he traveled to USA where he was appointed as a research fellow at Cleveland Clinic Florida from March 2013 to February 2015. His main interest was in the Direct Anterior total hip arthroplasty and the effect of tranexamic acid in reducing the blood loss. He has many presentations nationally and internationally on the same topic. From 2015- 2016, he worked as a Clinical Research Fellow at Paley institute West Palm Beach, Florida in the field of limb lengthening and congenital deformities. He gained a lot of experience in dealing and management of different cases of Tibial Hemimelia, Fibular Hemimelia, and Achondroplasia.
Since August 2017, Dr. Dabash is working at the University of Texas medical school at Houston as one of the Foot and Ankle staff at the orthopedic department.Dr. Ravikant Kamal is an Independent Orthopaedic Researcher. His area of interest for future research work is enclosed to Biomechanics of knee, Total Knee Arthroplasty and its recent advancements, Reasons behind failure of TKA, Effect of component selection & placement on the outcome of TKA and Automation of pre-operative planning for TKA. Prior to the role of Independent Researcher, he had worked with Stryker as R&D-Design; Engineer for more than 4 years (Nov’13-Apr’18). He was the part of a team who had developed first custom-made pin guides for Indian population with local manufacturing support. Post-development, he also got chance to lead sustenance team which was responsible for delivering customized jigs to hospitals. Ravi holds expertise in knee alignment technique using preop planning process and also skilled in segmentation process using CT & MRI scans. In the later phase of his career with Stryker, He was involved in new product development (NPD) process regarding development of low cost navigation platform for hip & knee replacements. He was involved in various internal clinical and engineering studies and volunteered in many validations cadaver labs. Ravi had worked with plenty of Indian orthopaedic surgeons and assisted them in PSI (patient-specific instrument) driven live TKA surgery and also involved with them in various comparative studies between PSI and Navigation. As a final project, he had developed the unique pre-operative sizing prediction technique and performed a multi centre’s sizing prediction accuracy study. Ravi is a certified case planner by Stryker for performing PSI design operations on live TKA cases and had trained several design engineers on the preoperative planning process. For a brief period of time (Feb’13-Oct’13), he had worked with Alternative India Pvt Ltd on Amplitude Ortho project as Design Engineer. He holds Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from SRM University, Chennai.
In his leisure time, he enjoys playing cricket and reading about human psychology. He is based in Hong Kong, and is currently an Associate Consultant at the North District Hospital and an honorary Assistant Professor in the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

He graduated in Medicine from Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University in 2008 and completed the Orthopaedics residency program at department of Orthopaedics, Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University in 2015. He spent one more year as a clinical fellow in foot and ankle surgery at the same institute. After fellowship, he started his job as a doctor and lecturer at Siriraj Hospital and been working there for 2 years until now. He is interested in variety of research topics correlated to foot and ankle surgery especially ankle arthritis, avascular necrosis of the talus, MÜller Weiss disease, ankle arthroscopy and calcaneal fracture. His highlight research is the report of treatment of avascular necrosis of the talus using talar body prosthesis which was officially published in 2014. Apart from the foot and ankle surgery, he is also interested in the research about knee preservation surgery (High tibial osteotomy), clavicular fracture and acetabular fracture. Nowadays, he has totally 32 publications, with 20 are in the Medline.Dr. Kyriakos A. Papavasiliou graduated from the Medical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki-Greece in 1994. Obtained Ph.D. degree at the same Institution in 2000. He earned his MS and PhD degrees from Polytechnique Montreal and his BS from School of Sciences and Technology of Tunis. For almost ten years, Malek investigated the synergy between passive structures and active musculature of the knee joint during a functional task or responding to an external loading using a multiscale paradigm starting from collagen fibril to full knee joint continuum mechanics. He actively participated in several projects addressing knee joint biomechanics in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Florida University, California University-San Diego and Wisconsin University. His research interests extends to the intersection of multiscale modeling, orthopedics, and physical medicine and rehabilitation, and are motivated by a desire to apply engineering principles to help those with joint disorders. These interests involve joint disorders control and management with an accurate measurement/prediction of the mechanical loading and function of the joint. His research also involves joint surgical design (ACL-reconstruction and knee osteotomy) and optimization to improve the short and long term outcomes of the post-operative human locomotion. Discoveries in these areas of engineering are essential to enhance the care, mobility and quality of life of individuals living with disabilities. Dr. Malek published more than 45 papers in international journals and conferences. He has served as a reviewer for scientific journals in the field of biomechanics such as journal of biomechanics, journal of biomechanics engineering, computer methods in biomechanics and biomedical engineering, Annals of biomedical engineering and Int. j. of experimental and computational biomechanics. He taught a wide range of graduate and undergraduate mathematical and engineering courses such as algebra, numerical methods, flight mechanics, statics, vibrations, solid mechanics and finite elements.Dr. Abdulhafeez Moshrif is a Lecturer in Rheumatology department – Al azhar University Hospitals – Assiut- Egypt. Since 1st October 1995 till 2009 he was the Head of Chair and of Paediatric Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation Department of Medical University in Lublin, Poland. From 2009 – retired in this State University. From 2009 till now – I am Professor Lecturer in Vincent Pol University (private University – here no limited age of lecturer – now I am 81 years old).
In the years 1963 – 2009 – He was scholarship holder and visitors doctor in many countries and many Orthopaedics’ University Departments – DAAD in Heidelberg and Essen, Neuruppin, Erfurt, Heinola, Helsinki, Oslo, Budapest, Debrecen, Szeged, London, Paris, Hong – Kong, Beijing, Prague, Bratislava. In years 2009 – 2016 Erasmus Lecturer in Germany (Dresden, Idstein), Italy (Chieti, Pescara), Belgium (Geel).
From 1963 he was a member of Polish Orthopaedic and Traumatology Association (in Polish: PTO i Tr.). For 12 years he was Secretary of Lublin Section of the PTO i Tr. For 4 years he was Vice-President of Lublin Section of PTO I Tr. For next 4 years he was a President of Lublin Section of PTO i Tr. He was a member of Editorial Board of Polish Hand Surgery, of Journal of Paediatric Orthopaedics Part-B, of Paediatric Orthopaedics Library (Lublin) and of Journal Locomotor System – “Pohybové ústrojí” (Czech Republic) and in years (2012 – 2019) Member of Editorial Board of many Orthopaedics’ and Rehabilitations Journals in USA. He was a member of EPOS since 1985 and member of Société Internationale de Chirurgie Orthopédique et de Traumatologie (SICOT) since 2002.
He was 36 times awarded by the Rector of Medical University of Lublin. He received three times awards from the Ministry of Health of Poland (1975, 1986, 1993). Since 1996 he is an Honorary Member of Hungarian Orthopaedic and Traumatology Association, since 2003 of Slovak Orthopaedic and Traumatology Association and since 2009 of Czech Republic Purkynie Society.
He described the biomechanical aetiology of the so-called idiopathic scoliosis (Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis - AIS) - 1995-2007. He has published many articles in numerous polish and foreign journals and also in four books about scoliosis (2000, 2002, 2003, 2011). Article about scoliosis are in materials of International Research Society for Spinal Deformities (IRSSD), after Congresses in Athens (Greece) - 2002, in Gent (Belgium) – 2006, in Liverpool (UK) – 2008 and in Pozna? Her professional career as Assistant Professor of General Therapeutics begun at the Faculty of Medicine. After 1999 she became Auxiliar Professor at the same Faculty.

She has been awarded three research prizes and seven fellowships, including one from FCT (Master Grant) and another from FEBS.
She is the President and Founder of the Portuguese Society of Myology (SPMyo).Mr. Suheal Ali Khan graduated from Sheffield Medical School, UK in 1987. Following his basic surgical training, he spent 4 years in research at the WHO Metabolic Bone Unit with an interest in Pharmocokinetics and Molecular epidemiology.
Following this period, Mr. Khan completed his Specialist Training as an Orthopaedic Surgeon and was appointed Consultant in 1999 with an interest in Ilizarov and Reconstructive surgery. In 2005 he was made Head of Department at the University Hospital in Manchester.
In 2010, Mr. Khan left his post to work in an International Surgical Aid agency, MiST Foundation and has worked in a number of developing countries, teaching and training junior surgeons and continues to dedicate his time to the Foundations mission statement; for his efforts has been awarded a Visiting Professorship from University in Manchester, UK. Dr. Stamatios A. Papadakis, MD, MSc, PhD is an Orthopaedic Surgeon – Traumatologist born in Athens, Greece. He received his M.D. degree (1990) and his Ph.D. degree (2003) from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece. He earned his M.Sc. degree (2011) from the Hellenic Open University, Patra, Greece. He undertook basic surgical training in Athens and he continued his orthopaedic training at the A’ Orthopaedic Department of Athens University. In 1998, he obtained the Greek title of Specialization in Orthopaedics and Traumatology, after taking the final examination. In the same year, he was trained in endoscopic spinal surgery in Kassel, Germany. From 1998 to 2000, he was a Spine Fellow at the A’ Orthopaedic Department of Athens University. Since 2000, he has been appointed as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at National Health System in Greece. In 2002, he completed a one-year Clinical Research Fellowship in Trauma Service in Los Angeles, USA, at the University of Southern California (USC).

Dr. Papadakis has published 84 peer-reviewed manuscripts and 34 book chapters in his field of interest and his work has resulted in more than 1600 citations. He has been involved as principal and/or sub-investigator in research protocols and clinical trials phases III and IIIb. He has also been involved as faculty member in numerous courses and workshops. He is on the editorial board of national and international journals and also a reviewer of scientific journals.
