Abstract

Anyone can get infected with SARS-CoV-19, but people with a higher risk of serious illness need to take extra care. People with severe underlying medical conditions, such as heart or lung disease or diabetes, may be at increased risk of COVID-19 complications. Older adults (65 years and older) and who are suffering from immune conditions such as cancer, or taking immunosuppressive drugs (implants), are also at increased risk of serious illness.
