Abstract

In the present study, PHB production has been observed more in plastic waste isdolate (52%) rather than from marine isolate. This property has been further increased by sodium alginate entrapment method to 61% in plastic isolate and 44% in marine isolate. The tensile properties and film formation of PHB were improved more with vinegar followed by PEG in comparision with the conventional plastic.
