Introduction
Health enhancing physical activity (HEPA) is a term used particularly “any form of PA that benefits health and functional capacity without tiredness”. The purpose of this study is to assess the habits and educational preparation on physical activity of healthcare professionals.
Methods
A cross-sectional survey design was used to assess healthcare professionals’ physical activity habits and their educational preparation on physical activity in hospital setting. Source populations of the study were the registered healthcare professionals with any age and sex and currently on practice in the sample hospitals and the sample size was determined by using the formula for estimating a single population proportion. Regarding data collection tools: Demographic information and the key variables of the study were collected through questionnaire.
