Zika Virus Epidemic in Rajasthan, India: Current Perspective
Zika, a flavivirus spread mainly by mosquitoes, belongs to the same genus as dengue and chikungunya. Some evidence that Zika has been in India for long comes from a 1954 survey, which found several Indians with Zika antibodies. Biodegradable Plastic Poly Hydroxy Butyrate (PHB) Production by Bacterial Isolates from Marine Source and Plastic Waste
In the present study, PHB production has been observed more in plastic waste isdolate (52%) rather than from marine isolate. This property has been further increased by sodium alginate entrapment method to 61% in plastic isolate and 44% in marine isolate.
