Objectives: Running training involves building an adequate physique and having an efficient usage of oxygen. In this study, we examined the relationship between body habitus and various distance events in elite athletes, specifically the top Olympians from the past couple decades. As parameters for body habitus, we evaluated body mass index (BMI), body surface area (BSA), and oxygen consumption
(VO2).
